Crispy Nuts Chicken – Chicken Recipe

Friends, I’ve been SO excited to share this recipe with you ever since I perfected it a while back. This Chicken Recipes section is about how to make Crispy nuts chicken. You will need just 11 ingredients to make this dish. Scroll down for the recipe.


Crispy Nuts Chicken Ingredients

nuts mix 1 ¼ cup finely chopped { cashew nuts, roasted peanut and other nuts) = nuts mix
egg 2 number Only egg white
Lemon juice 4 tsp As per your need
whole chicken breasts 2 pieces skinned, boned and thinly sliced
vegetable oil 2 cups or less. Or peanut or olive oil.
corn-starch ¼ cup


Upto ½ cup
sugar ½ tsp As per your need
salt 2 tsp As per your need
soy sauce ½  tbsp As per your need

Tenderising chicken Ingredients

yogurt ¼ cup If not 2 tbsp vinegar
water 1 cup
Salt ¼ tsp As per your need


tenderising the chicken Take a bowl add 1 cup of Water and ¼ tsp salt and ¼ cup of yogurt or 2 tsp of vinegar and whisk well. Put the chicken in to the mixture and whisk it thoroughly and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. This will make the raw chicken tenderise and juicy for our recipe. This step is for people like me in India who likes the chicken tender. you can also skip this step.


Preparing the dish

Take the chicken breast and make sure it is thinly sliced. Take a bowl, Separate egg white and beat the egg white lightly until it gets frothy. Then add the corn-starch mixture slowly. Stir gently until blended. In small bowl, combine corn-starch, salt, sugar and soy sauce and little lemon juice. Take a plate and spread the nuts mix in it. now dip chicken slices into the egg mixture. coat them with nuts mix. Place it on waxed paper.

It’s Frying Time:

Pour oil into wok, place tempura rack onto wok, making sure rack is level and hooks rest securely on edge of wok.  Heat oil over medium to medium-high heat until it reaches 375 degrees.  Drop 5 or 6 slices of chicken carefully into hot oil, using a slotted spoon.  Fry until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes.  Remove from oil and place on tempura rack to drain and keep warm.

voila! your dish is ready to be served. place the slices in the plate decorate it with some chilli flakes and serve it with different sauce and mayonnaise.
